Ramello bridge , a tiny “Brooklyn bridge” close home. This is one of the most interesting spots in the Vara river, just 10 min max drive from home. You can chill and enjoy a little swim , when you want something different from the crowded sea or do want to stop, before coming home , to look at the sunset in a suggestive place, Enjoy!

Soviore Sanctuary to Monterosso by foot It is a must to go to the Sanctuary of SOVIORE ! Leave your car there and walk toward MONTEROSSO from there.. it is not that hard and this path it is just incredible with its breathtaking views!
Palmaria Island Another suggestion, one of my favourite places ever is the isle of PALMARIA, situated just in front of Porto Venere. The very best way to get there will be to go to La Spezia , park your car there and take the ferry. It should cost around 10 euro return.
I reccommend to take the ferry from La Spezia to Terrizzo first, and then do the little hike from Terrizzo to Pozzale to discover all the secret places of this beautiful old Island, tand finally have a bath in Pozzale and take the ferry t back from there 🙂 There are also two very nice fish restaurants with beautiful views in the Island!
Here below you can find the ferry summer schedule:
from La Spezia to Palmaria Terrizzo :
8:30 am ; 10:00 am ; 11:15 am ; 2.05 pm ; 3:20 pm
from Palmaria Pozzale to La Spezia :
in the afternoon 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
You may also find all the other ferries infos about Golfo dei Poeti and Cinque Terre tours at the port.
To visit the Cinque Terre National Park: I will remind you that the best way to do it is to take the train because it is quite difficult to find a parking spot in the Cinque terre. There is a great ticket deal called Cinque Terre Card that includes several services such as ecological Park buses, Wi-fi internet connecetion and usage of the trekking trails
At every Cinque Terre train station you can buy the card and get maps and all other information needed (Tourist information points).
Moreover, if you don’ t want to spend money on the train station parking spot , and are willing to walk a little bit more to reach the station, there is a free parking spot called PARKING PIAZZA D’ARMI. Here below I will send you the right location. It is totally free , not too far from the train station and always open 🙂 there is even a free shuttle from this parking to the little ferry port:
