The Village of Bracelli

The village of Bracelli was built around the 963 as an ancient property of the church o Luni but in 1247 it was given to the Oldoberti noble family of Pontremoli.
The castle built at the and of the XII century was then sold to Genova. Unfortunately it  was then destroyed but the arches of its seven doors are still intact and you can see them when you walk from the house toward the main square where it is located the little cathedral of the village.

the most suggestive things of the village are:
Ruins of the palace of the noble family Ravaschieri ; There are still some frescos on its remaining facades where it is also shown also the family crest and it was built in 1400.

Palace of noble family Roy with its family crest, opposite to the old bell tower of the San maurizio oratorio church.

Chiesa Santa Maria Assunta (built in1614) but unfortunately renewed at the beginning of the XX century, but in the inside there is still furniture of the xviii century, frescos of the artist Cesare Agretti (1871) and a Madonna sculpture of 1625.

Chiesa di San Maurizio (VII century) with original frescos inside. it was renewd though in 1727.

Villa Amamòse  was built around the second part of the XIX century but we are still checking with our architect to find a more specific date.
